Gareth was born and bred in Whangarei and has had over 30 years in the building industry. Gareth qualified as a Quantity Surveyor in his early twenties and then went onto running the family building company for 10 years, constructing 50 plus houses per year. During that time Gareth was voted in as New Zealand’s youngest regional Master Builders (Northland) President.

Gareth has held a number of senior positions in various building companies and franchise support offices over the years, gaining extensive knowledge in all aspects of the building industry (sales, pricing, contract negotiations, ordering, project management). His last position was Area Sales Manager for a major supplier, overseeing their trade business from Pokeno to the Cape with an $80million dollar turn over.

In his spare time Gareth enjoys spending time with his wife & five kids, working around his life style block and riding his Harley Davidson.

Leah is the Operations Manager for TRENZ Homes.

Leah is a Northland local, having been born and raised in Whangarei. She has an extensive background in high level administration, project management, and sales. Leah first became interested in the construction industry when working in the Strategic Projects Office at Northland DHB, assisting with major capital projects. She then worked on a number of DHB construction projects including repurposing an office block for mental health patients, installing a new MRI machine, and refurbishing the ED triage area. Leah then spent 18 months in a business sales role, before jumping at the opportunity to work for TRENZ.

Having recently moved into her own TRENZ home, Leah understands the excitement of planning a new home and watching the building come to completion. In her spare time, Leah can be found enjoying the Northland outdoors – camping, fishing and horse-riding.
